How do you find the surface area of a party hat, waffle cone, or traffic cone? These are all examples of a cone. We find the surface area of a cone by substituting the slant height l and base radius r in the formula SA = πr2 + πrl. If the slant height is not given, learners can easily find it by using the perpendicular height and the radius of the cone. Remember to write the surface area in square units in these printable worksheets.
